Car wrapping
for Melbourne.

We are a fixed workshop in Cranbourne, about fifty minutes from the CBD. A full colour change keeps the car with us for a week, so the drive is two trips, not a daily one.

  • Teckwrap

Plainly: Defiant is not in the city and does not come to you. The workshop is at 9 Tech Way, Cranbourne, down the Monash and the South Gippsland Freeway, and every wrap is done inside it.

For a wrap that is less of a cost than it sounds. A full colour change is about a week with us whoever does it, because the car comes apart before the film goes on - handles, badges, lights, and on a full job the doors. You drive down once to drop it off and once to collect it.

What the drive buys is the method. Film wrapped into the shuts instead of cut at them, every edge post-heated, and 3M, Avery Dennison, Hexis, KPMF, Orafol or Teckwrap rather than whatever was cheapest on the day.

What you can have

How far it goes is your call.

  • Full colour change

Every painted panel, wrapped and tucked. The car reads as that colour from any angle, including with the doors open.

  • Part wraps

A bonnet, a roof, a set of mirrors. The cheapest way to break up a colour, and usually a few hours rather than a week.

  • Printed designs

Artwork printed onto the film and laid to a layout drawn up first, so you see how it sits on the car before anything is installed.

  • Colour-shift and specialty film

Films that move through two or three colours as the light changes, plus chrome, brushed metal and textured finishes.

Car wrapping in Melbourne, answered.

Do you come to me?

No. A wrap needs a clean, enclosed workshop - dust under film is there for the life of the wrap - so every job is done at 9 Tech Way, Cranbourne.

Is it worth the drive from the city?

On a full colour change, it is two trips: drop off, then collect about a week later. The car is going to be with somebody for a week either way, so the question is who you want doing it.

How long does a wrap last?

Several years on a car that is garaged and washed by hand. Horizontal panels - roof, bonnet, boot - take the most sun and are always the first to go. Matte and satin films need a bit more care than gloss.

Can you wrap over damage?

Film follows what is underneath it, so dents and deep chips still read through. Anything that needs fixing is best fixed first.
