Working only in film from
the brands that make it
Services
Everything cosmetic,
under one roof.
Seven things, all of them finish work. Bring the car in for one of them or hand over the whole look.
-
01 — Colour change
Vinyl wrapping
A full colour change, a printed design, or just a few parts.
Hundreds of colours to choose from, quality material and installation, so the idea you have for the car is the one that ends up on it.
-
02 — Protection
Paint protection film
The best protection there is for the paint underneath. Thicker than vinyl, so it takes the rocks and the debris instead of your panels.
Shallow scratches heal out with heat. Deeper marks mean the film comes off with the paint perfect beneath it, then goes straight back on.
-
03 — Branding
Signage
One of the easiest ways to put your business in front of people. Vehicles, machines, factories and more.
Custom designs and layouts drawn up first, so you can see how it sits before anything gets installed.
-
04 — Trim
Chrome deletes
For anyone who cannot stand a silver trim, or who wants the car sharper without changing much.
Every piece of chrome wrapped or painted black, inside or out, in gloss, satin or matte.
-
05 — Glass
Window tinting
Front, rear and sides.
[Gerard: tinting is on the board at the workshop but has no write-up on the current site, so this line needs your words.]
-
06 — Wheels
Caliper painting
A fresh coat behind the spokes in whatever custom colour you want.
Small job, and it changes how the whole wheel reads.
-
07 — Fitment
Custom installation
Want a part on the car without risking the panels around it?
Spoilers, lip kits, grilles, diffusers, lights, mirrors, badges and more, fitted here so you are not the one holding the drill.
The workshop
Unit 9,
Tech Way.
Defiant Motor Culture works out of a unit in the Cranbourne industrial estate, sharing the roof with DMR Autoworx and Motorsport Society Co. Wrapping, film and signage happen here, indoors, out of the weather and the dust.

What is the difference between a wrap and paint protection film?
A wrap changes how the car looks. Film protects what is underneath. Vinyl gives you the colour, the finish and the design. PPF is thicker, so it takes the rocks and the debris instead of your panels, shallow scratches heal out with heat, and deeper marks mean the film comes off with the paint perfect beneath it, then goes straight back on.
Can you wrap just part of the car?
Yes. A full colour change, a printed design, or just a few parts. It is your call how far it goes.
What film do you use?
3M, Avery Dennison, Hexis, KPMF, Orafol, Teckwrap and Inozetek. Hundreds of colours between them, across gloss, satin and matte.
Do you do mechanical work as well?
No. Defiant is cosmetic only. DMR Autoworx shares the unit at 9 Tech Way and handles servicing, tuning, electrical and performance work, so a car needing both does not have to go to two addresses.
Can you do signage for my business?
Yes. Vehicles, machines, factories and more. Custom designs and layouts get drawn up first, so you can see how it sits before anything gets installed.
Do you paint calipers and fit parts too?
Both. Calipers get a fresh coat in whatever colour you want. Custom installation covers spoilers, lip kits, grilles, diffusers, lights, mirrors and badges, so nobody has to risk their own panels with a drill.
